Aera: There are only few who really know what drives her. Her bond with the Touch of Death is hard to explain, and honestly, a bit hard to understand. In her home world it is rumored she is Murass' heir. She's half Chikurajin, half Ningen (Human).


Bulma: One of the leading characters. She met Goku when he was only twelve and they have been friends ever since. She's a scientist, and made Capsule Corporation into the huge company that it is now. Vejiita is her spouse, Bura and Trunks her children. Another Ningen.


Bura: In the American version she is called Bulla since people had complained that 'Bra' would send out the wrong message to children. Bura is an absolute shopping addict. She loves being as rich and spoiled as she is and isn't the least bit interested in learning Martial Arts like her brother Trunks. She can get whatever she wants, especially from her father. Pan is a childhood friend of hers even though they differ like night from day. Half Ningen, half Saiyajin.


Chaozu: Nobody really knows what he is. Some sort of emperor, I believe. Tien's best friend.


ChiChi: Originally, she's a tough warrior princess. Eventually, she's the overprotective mother of two boys, Gohan and Goten. Everybody takes her orders, no questions asked or they'll sorely regret it. She's Ningen.


Darken: It's not even his real name, and nobody really knows where he came from. It is said he once was one of Rhym's (Porunga) students though no one knows for sure. It is also said he is possessed.

Dende: Chikyuu God from the beginning of the Buu Saga, I believe.


Gohan: Son of Goku and ChiChi. Apparantly he's got some sort of Master's Degree and fulfilled his mother's wishes in becoming a scholar. Also known as the Great Saiyaman or Golden Warrior he saved city after city from crime and dire foes during his teenage years. He first achieved Super Saiyajin in the Room of Spirit and Time when he was eleven years old and was the first to attain SSJ level two. He has the ability to awaken the status of Mystic inside of him, granting him tremendous strength. He is wed to Videl, and they have a daughter, Pan. Half Ningen, half Saiyajin.


Goku: The Legendary Super Saiyajin. Nobody comes near his tremendous power. Each time he is forced to battle a new evil, that is perhaps too strong for him, he pushes himself to reach new heights. He is married to ChiChi. They have two sons – Gohan and Goten – and one granddaughter, Pan. He's a low class full blooded Saiyajin though was raised an Earthling/Chikyuujin.


Goten: Youngest son of Goku and ChiChi. He achieved Super Saiyajin when he was only seven and is by far the youngest to have ever attained this level. He hadn't even learned to fly yet. When he was still a child everyone was convinced he would one day surpass even his father. Unfortunately years of peace turned Goten into a lazy teenager only interested in dating girls and hanging out with his best friend Trunks. Goten is as sweet and carefree as his father, at least, till he reaches his boundary. He's very frustrated about his relationship with his father. He's drummer to a punkband named Oddball. Another Ningen-Saiyajin half-breed.


Gular: Uyra's brother. He always tried to right every wrong, but he could not right his own. Although he is one of the main causes for the Touch of Death to exist, he is praised for his heroic defiance towards Darken. A Chikurajin.

Gyu Mao/Ox King: ChiChi's father. One of them gentle giants. He's Ningen, and of royalty.

Hakaisha: Destroyer. The only one able to defy Murass. This 'Destroyer' is the one set to destroy all.


Jello: Bass player to Oddball, a punkband. Friend of Goten's. Pie is his younger, teenage brother.


Juuhachi-gou: Android 18 is the most powerful woman on Earth yet. Although she was once fully human, she was turned into an advanced cyborg by the evil Dr. Gero along with her twin brother Juunana-gou (17). Kuririn saved her, and against all odds they married and even had a child together, Marron. Ningen/Android.


Juunana-gou: A misunderstood, troubled man who is stuck in a teenage body for the rest of his life because he was turned into a cyborg by Dr. Gero. After having been wished back into a human he angrily vanishes into the vast woodlands of Chikyuu, hardly to be heard or seen of again. Until something stirs his soul, and forces him to take action once more. Ningen/Android.

Kamesennin: Also known as Muten Roshi, Master Roshi or the Turtle Master. He's a horny old pervert but he's also Goku's very first Sensei.

Kami: The Chikyuu God.


Kuririn: Goku's best friend. This little monk has married by far the most beautiful girl seen throughout DragonballZ, Juuhachi-gou or Android 18. They have a child together, Marron, and reside in the Kame House with Kamesennin, Umigame and Oolong. He's Ningen.

Kyuusaisha: Saviour. The only one able to stop the Hakaisha.


Lunch/Kushami: She's had a crush on Tien ever since she met him. She's a bank robber with a split personality manifesting itself upon sneezing. She's Ningen.


Marron: Cheerful, and very cute daughter to Kuririn and Juuhachi-gou. She's a very bright young woman, who has a whole lot of ambition. She's also considered Ningen.


Maxine: Also known as Max. Goten's colleague. This girl is one tough cookie. She's independant, stubborn and confident. Ningen/Human.


Mirai Pan: Fierce daughter of Gohan and Videl born in a devastated, future world. She never thought she'd fall for him again. In a world that knows no love, such is the most frightening thing to be confronted with. She knows there's nothing left to do but run.


Mirai Trunks: His past has been filled with destruction and vile ever since he was born, and it is very hard for him to let go. When he finally meets the one girl able to provide him with an acceptable life, like his mother had provided for him for most his existence, something happens that drives him beyond the borders of sanity.


Mirai Yamuna Tacra: The Touch of Death, as she is possessed by the Hakaisha has never been able to let go of her overly destructive nature. She has all but destroyed her own dimension and in her insatiable hunger for destruction she feels one world isn't enough...


Mr. Satan: Videl's father. He's so famous for the heroic deeds he is said to have accomplished, he even has an entire city named after him. Truthfully, he's a baka weakling as Vejiita would say. Ningen.


Murass: the Dragon Lord, Master of Chikurajin, Highest of All. He is best to be described as God of All, Everywhere. He can manifest himself in anything and often does so in innocent shapes, such as a stuffed doll.


Oolong: Litterally and figuratively a pig. He's a shapeshifter.


Pan: Daughter to Videl and Gohan. She cannot handle the fact everyone treats her like a child and can't wait to be grown up. In many ways she is like her mother and her grandmother ChiChi. Mostly Ningen, though she has some Saiyajin blood running through her veins.


Paresu: Goten's girlfriend. She's probably even more ignorant than Goten and Goku. However she does seem a very sweet girl.


Piccolo: Nameckian, though he's never seen his home world. Initially evil, he has since long turned around. His bond with Gohan is strong. He has a certain affection for Chikurajin.


Pie: Guitarist to Oddball, a punkband. Friend of Goten's. Jello is his older brother and big example. Pie is only sixteen years old at the time of Oddball's break-through.


Rhym: Better known as Porunga, the eternal dragon of the Nameckians. One of Chikurajin's legendary peacelords.


Puaru: A catlike shapeshifter and a scaredy cat. Yamucha's longtime buddy. He's a boy, although his squeaky voice might mislead you into thinking otherwise.


Slash: He is considered son of Mirai Yamuna Tacra, though she probably isn't technically his mother. Quite possibly Slash, as well as his sister Slay are the result of a multiple personalities disorder the Touch of Death from the future developed. Slash is strongly attracted to men, especially so called pretty boys. He is insanely sadistic.


Slay: She is also considered a child of Yamuna Tacra's though technically she is not. Quite possibly Slay, alike her brother has sprung into existence due to a multiple personalities disorder Mirai Yamuna Tacra is suffering from. Slay is very, very self centered and even more of an attention seeker than her brother.


Stu: Typically called weirdo or freak, Stu isn't much of a talker unless on stage. He's often referred to as the strong silent type. Lead singer to Oddball. Friend of Jello's, and later on friend of Goten's.


Tenshinhan/Tien: Eternal Child, which supposedly is his subspecies. He seems human but has a third eye, on his forehead. A powerful ally who has saved Goku's skin on various occasions.


Therin: Rhym's brother, better known as Shenlon, the eternal dragon of the Ningen. Second of Chikurajin's legendary peacelords.


Trunks: Son to Vejiita and Bulma. He attained SSJ when he was eight years old. He has a future counterpart, who is way stronger than he is, and was never blessed with the carefree life Trunks had. Trunks Briefs is president of the Capsule Corporation, which caused him to tone down his usually bratty behaviour. Half Ningen, half Saiyajin.


Uubu: Also called Uub, he is the good hearted incarnation of Evil Majin Buu. Nobody really knows his true potential, except maybe Goku. He's Ningen, and originates from a hunter gatherer people.


Uyra: Aera's mother, and leader of the Rebellion. She grew up in the midst of a world struck by famish and torn in two by continuous warfare. Although she has been caught despairing at times, she never really gave up hope, not even when death claimed the innocent lives of her brother, husband, and sons; not even when death claimed hers. She's Chikurajin, and of royalty.


Vejiita: Well, there is so much to say about this man. Let's keep it short. He's the Saiyajin Prince, and eternal rival of Goku ever trying to surpass him. Bulma is his mate, Trunks and Bura his half-breed children. Saiyajin, obviously.


Videl: The beautiful hardheaded daughter of the famous martial artist Mr. Satan and unlike her father she's actually a marvellous fighter. Gohan teaches her to fly and from then on a friendship develops between the two. Later on these feelings evolve into a love relationship and they have a daughter, Pan. Ningen.


Yamucha: A desert bandit who cannot get within a proximate of about fifty square metre of a girl or go absolutely insane. He has a long-term relationship with Bulma, which ends for clouded reasons. He is never since seen with any other woman, or man for that matter. His companion is Puaru, a feline shape shifter. He's Ningen as well.


Yamuna Tacra: Named after death, there isn't much else for her to live up to than the reputation her Master put on her since early childhood. She finds it very hard to deal with any emotion at all, and however a military genius she's not that bright of a bulb. She wasn't born, she was created for one purpose only: the downfall of Murass, the Lord of All. She's half Saiyajin, half Chikurajin.


Zayde: Chikurajin priest, who has yet to come to terms with the fact he'll never make it head-priest.


Ziyuu/Uzi: Daughter of Lunch and Tenshinhan. She resembles her mother very much, and has even inherited her split personality. She's a biomedical/biochemical scientist, and a DNA expert. Her relationship with Juunana-gou is to be at least called extraordinary. She's considered Ningen.
